The Palos Fine Arts Association is offering two $500
scholarships for the 2008 season to High School District 230 students.
Scholarships are offered in 5 areas of interest: theater, music, dance, visual
arts and creative writing.

$500.00 ScholarshipCriteria
- Applicant must be a Junior or Senior in High
School, residing within the boundaries of high school district 230 or 218.
- Applicant must attend Stagg, Sandburg,
Andrew, Shephard, Chicago Christian, Marist, McCauly, Sacred Heart or be
home schooled.
- Scholarship need to be used to further an
interest or study of the arts.
The application should consist of an essay of
1000 words or less including the following:
- Who the applicant is - brief history
- What are your goals for this educational
experience
- When will the class or workshop be held
- Where the class or workshop will be held
- Why are you motivated to attend the class or
workshop
Please include the following information:
- Completed Application

- Art material in the form of cd, tape,
slides, audio or manuscript to be reviewed by scholarship committee
(materials will no be returned)

Felicia DeBow $500 Memorial Scholarship
Criteria
- Applicant must be a woman at least 21 years
of age.
- Applicant must reside or work within the
boundaries of High School District 230 or 218
- Scholarship needs to be used to further an
interest or study in the Arts
- Recipient must attend a regular meeting of
the Palos Fine Arts Council to share their experience from the use of the
scholarship
The application should consist of an essay of
1000 words or less including the following:
- Who the applicant is - brief history
- What are your goals for this educational
experience
- When will the class or workshop be held
- Where the class or workshop will be held
- Why are you motivated to attend the class or
workshop
